No account
No sign-up and no password: just an email to send you your screen link and your edit link. Your screens are also kept in your browser.
Encrypted
The content is encrypted in your browser. To resend your links we also keep an encrypted copy of its key; the key that encrypts it is outside the database, but whoever controls our server could read your screen.
What data it uses
- With the direct link, all the content travels inside the link (after the # sign) and never reaches our server.
- When you save, the content (guest name, WiFi, rules…) is encrypted in your browser with a random 128-bit key that travels in the link, after the #. We store the encrypted content and, to resend your links when you ask (“Recover your screens”) and to bring the screen into your RDS account, a copy of that key encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The key that encrypts that copy is in the server configuration, outside the database: a copy of the database alone cannot read your screens, but whoever controls the server (us, or someone who compromised it) could. Everything is deleted when the screen expires (1 to 30 days) or when you delete it. To put it on the TV, the key travels encrypted for that TV (ECDH). If you import the screen into your RDS account, the key is stored there encrypted too, under a key kept outside the RDS database; whoever controls the RDS server could read it.
- Your email is used to send you the links and, over one week, two emails with tips about the tool; RDS news only if you accept them and confirm from the email. No cookies, no account. Your screens are also kept in your browser; edit links are stored on our server only as a hash.

Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up. It is made by the people behind RDS, a platform for managing screens.
Will it work on my TV?
On any TV with a browser: Samsung, LG or Android TV smart TVs, a Fire TV Stick or a computer connected over HDMI.
How do I change the guest name for each booking?
Under “Your screens in this browser”, press Edit, change the name and save. The TV shows the change within 15 minutes without you touching it.
Is it safe to show the WiFi password?
The content is encrypted before it leaves your browser and expires when you decide. Still, anyone who can see the TV sees the password — which is the point for your guests — so change it if you think you need to.
What if I have several apartments?
Create one code per apartment. And if you want to run every TV from one panel, with photos, videos and scheduled notices, that is RDS.
