What devices does RDS support?+
Any Android device — TV stick with Google Play, set-top box running native Android (with APK side-load or Google Play), commercial display or tablet — running Android 5.1 or newer via our APK. Plus any x86 mini-PC or Raspberry Pi via our signed Linux image. Both pair to your account with a 6-digit code shown on the screen.
Does RDS need a permanent internet connection?+
For pairing and initial content sync, yes. Once the content is on the device it plays from the local cache and survives short outages without skipping a beat. New media, playlist changes and remote commands need connectivity to push down.
Can I host RDS on my own infrastructure?+
Not today. RDS is a multi-tenant SaaS hosted in the EU on AWS. Every customer shares one secure console, isolated at the database and storage layer. Self-hosted deployments aren't on the roadmap — drop us a line if your use case absolutely requires it.
What's included in the price?+
One license per device, every platform feature unlocked — playlists, live web URLs, GPS tracking, scheduling, multi-language console, 2FA. The €6.22 promotional rate (regular €8.89) covers the device until the next renewal. No add-ons, no upgrade tiers, no SMS or analytics surcharges.
How long is the free trial?+
30 days, no credit card required. The trial gives you 10 devices, 10 images and 10 videos — generous enough to deploy across several locations and pilot the platform end-to-end.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Monthly billing, cancel from the console at any point. No long-term contract, no termination fees.
